Many providers that purchase insurance policies have recently added several new funding sources.
The new life settlement sweet spot – that is policies currently in the highest demand – are universal life policies with $1 million – $2 million face amounts and low premium-to-face amount ratios.
Of course, there are other policy types that will sell in the marketplace. Many providers are still purchasing policies with face amounts up to $10 million per insured, we are even seeing some as large as 20MM.
Many times investor appetite changes and new funds can appear in the marketplace as investors look for ways to diversify their portfolios.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
